Overview[]

Obake's real name is Keiko Uzumi. She was found as an orphan by Lord Clyde and quickly became his favorite pupil. After she became of age, she became OMAR's top assassin—choosing the name Obake—and befriended a man named Darius. They performed many missions together, but he disappeared after a mission at the Stanford University, and Obake suspected foul play. A new biobot appeared shortly after, and Keiko felt like there was something familiar about him. She later discovers that the OMAR Biobot, Dallas 13, is actually harboring Darius's brain inside. She also discovers that Clyde had actually killed her father, through which she vows revenge against Clyde and OMAR.

In her ending, Keiko looks on as OMAR is destroyed and, using Clyde's fortune, builds her own company based on "Green Energy," which is what her father believed in.

Special Weapon[]

Obake's Special Weapon was the Rift Blade. The weapon accelerates the Tsunami to the speed of light, slicing through enemies, and is one of the most powerful Special Weapons in the game. While it does track her enemies, the Special's handling is very sluggish, not being able to make sharp turns.

Trivia[]

  • Obake is Japanese for "ghost." However, in the Japanese version of the game, her name is translated to English as ゴースト (Gohsuto = Ghost).
  • One of Obake's in-game quotes may be in reference to Columbia Pictures' 1984 film Ghostbusters.
